Mountain Everlasting Sweater

A classic fitted sweater with sheer and solid stripes. We alternate between airy, lightweight mohair silk lace yarn used by itself and held together with a buttery soft 4ply blend of merino and silk. This sweater is light as a feather, like wearing a fluffy cloud, but it certainly excels at keeping the chill at bay!

King's Park Cowl

Sineabhar Shawl

A stunning shawl that looks amazing but is actually fairly straightforward to knit. The pattern gives two sizes - for an 80” and 50” shawl. Using only 60g and 35g of laceweight yarn each, this is a perfect pattern for using up the end of a special ball of yarn.

Asphodel Shawl

A stunning lace shawl with a geometric design. There are three distinct bands of lace in the shawl, working from larger to smaller diamonds with a lace edge. The shawl is constructed as a traditional triangular shawl, with the lace patterns to the right and left sides of the spine mirror images of each other.

 Felted Lace Wrap

A cosy wrap in a pretty lace pattern. Lightly felting this piece softens up the yarn and gives it a beautiful worn-in look. Charts and written instructions are given, along with instructions for each lace knitting stitch used. Full instructions on how to felt the wrap are also given.






Etive Cowl

A soft, warm, lofty cowl in a pretty stitch pattern. Knitted in handspun alpaca yarn, this is guaranteed to keep you toasty all winter. Bulky yarn means it’s a quick knit too. The stitch pattern is suitable for beginner lace knitters and easy to memorise. This cowl is knit flat, then the cast-on and bind-off edges are grafted together. Both charts and written instructions are given for the lace pattern.

Buddleia Shawl

A gorgeous lace shawl inspired by trees in blossom. The design is based on a traditional Estonian leaf lace pattern with the addition of a floral motif. The pattern includes both charts and written instructions, as well as full instructions for the lace stitches used.

Linnet Shawlette

A cute shawlette with bands of garter stitch and star stitch. Knits up quickly in sportweight alpaca yarn.

Makes a triangle 46” across and 23” high after blocking.

Yak Hat

A slouchy lace beanie hat knitted in luxury yarn. The pictured yarn is handspun yak down, but I have suggested a commercially available alternative. The lace pattern is very simple to knit, but it’s one I really love. I’ve given both written instructions and a chart.

Heron Cardigan

A classic cabled cardigan in luxury yarn. Featuring a longer length style and chunky garter stitch edgings to keep you cosy. This cardigan is worked top down with raglan sleeves. Stitches round the front edges and neck are picked up and worked in garter stitch. Charts and written instructions are given for the cabled sections. To fit bust 32” (34”, 36”, 38”, 40”, 42” 44”).

Kekomi Cowl

This is a very simple lace pattern using big needles so it’s an incredibly quick, but impressive, knit. Perfect gift material! The yarn used is my handspun baby camel and silk. It’s a lovely choice if you’re a handspinner, baby camel down is much cheaper than cashmere but feels just as soft. I’ve recommended a commercially available yarn as a perfectly suitable substitute though.

Snowcloud Cardigan

A soft, warm cardigan to keep you toasty when the snow starts falling. Featuring chunky cuffs and wraparound front in double moss stitch for extra cosiness. Seamless construction and aran yarn make this a quick and satisfying knit.





Buachaille Scarf

A cosy winter classic. Knitted up in chunky Bluefaced Leicester yarn for warmth and comfort. This is an easy knit, but lace stitches and cables keep it interesting. This design uses “fake cable” stitches – they’re much easier than using a cable needle but practically indistinguishable! Full instructions for all stitches used are included in the pattern.

Raincloud Cardigan

The perfect Autumn cardigan. Warm, fuzzy yarn and chunky edgings keep you cozy; bracelet length sleeves and an open front mean you don’t overheat. Knits up quickly on larger needles and it’s cute too!

This is an easy cardigan pattern suitable for an adventurous beginner.

Forest Walk Scarf

A cozy scarf in a beautiful lace pattern reminiscent of falling leaves. This knits up surprisingly quickly in a luxury dk yarn which comes in a wide range of naturally dyed colours.

This is a simple but impressive lace pattern. Full instructions for all lace stitches required are included.

Fern Lace Hat

A cute lacy hat in two sizes, perfect for Autumn. The hat pictured is made with my own handspun, handdyed Bluefaced Leicester yarn, but I’ve suggested two commercially available yarns that would be fine too. 

Garden Party Cardigan

A lovely light and drapey cardigan knitted in laceweight silk, perfect for keeping the chill at bay on long summer evenings. An understated design with a pretty floral lace edging.

Lace and Cable Mitts

This is a knitting pattern for a gorgeous pair of armwarmers in a lace and cable pattern, with fisherman’s rib on the palm. These are very cosy, knitted in a supersoft cashmere blend yarn. Having said that, any aran/worsted weight yarn would do - substitute your favourite! They would make an ideal gift, or a special treat for yourself.





Avena Cowl

A beautiful lace cowl in a lovely fuzzy yarn. An understated lace design which could be dressed up or down, it would go equally well with jeans and a t-shirt as with evening dress. The pattern is simple and elegant, pretty but not too fussy.








Dochart Scarf

A quick-to knit scarf pattern with a pretty fake cable pattern on both sides. One side has braided cables, the other side has twists!
